The passion of BoardServe.org is to develop, encourage and nurture emerging Christian leaders of transformed and transformative governing boards of Christian organizations. More specifically, we provide a consulting and coaching resource to board chairs, school and organization leaders, and governing board members who desire to function in their board roles more effectively and efficiently, and consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

At the core of BoardServe.org are three compelling convictions: A vision for who we are as the people of God; A passion for what we are to do in the work of God; and an obsession for how we live together as the family of God. These convictions form the foundation for Christian servant leadership and provide the context and rationale for BoardServe.org. They undergird the way we lead and work together in the governing structures for the Christian organizations we are called to serve.

It is within this “theological vision” that organizational skills and leadership competencies are addressed by BoardServe.org. In this context, BoardServe.org serves as a resource to governing boards and their leaders in thinking and leading Christianly, administrative decision making and benchmarking, budgeting and financial management, crisis intervention and mediation, leadership growth and development, strategic thinking and planning, needs assessment, conflict management, and resolution, team building, and board/leadership development.
